Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kruits (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the Kruits website and recruiting platform (the “Service”). We designed the Service with privacy in mind, including tooling for data export, retention and erasure.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as name, email and organization details.
- Recruiting data you or your candidates submit, such as job postings, résumés, applications, interview records, messages and call or meeting transcripts.
- Usage information, such as log data, device and browser information, and how you interact with the Service.
- Integration data from services you connect, such as calendar, email, telephony and video providers, used to provide the features you enable.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service and its AI-assisted features;
- to authenticate users and secure the Service;
- to communicate with you about the Service; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI processing
The Service uses AI models to process content you submit — for example, to parse résumés, classify email, conduct and score interviews, and draft communications. This processing is performed to deliver the features you use. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents to submit candidate and third-party data for processing.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- with service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards;
- with integrations you choose to connect, at your direction;
- within your organization according to the roles and permissions you configure; and
- where required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Service.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes. The Service includes retention and cleanup tooling so that you can manage how long recruiting data is kept.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including storing credentials and secrets in a dedicated secrets vault. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the GDPR and CCPA). The Service provides export and erasure tooling to help fulfill these requests. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@kruits.com.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and will update the date above.
